Become an environment

May 16, 2016

The best we can do is become an environment that allows every person we meet to open in the optimum way they can open up.

A great letting go

May 12, 2016

Let us dare to abandon the frenzy of seeking. Let us dare to stand aloof, to doubt all that has seemed essential to us up to now, let us dare stop believing in anything at all; then we will have the experience of a great letting go. Then, in this relaxing, we will perhaps be able to taste of the essence of inconceivable freedom.

Stop all seeking

May 8, 2016

For those who have attained the Way, there is nothing that is not the Way.
You should observe your present state – what is the reason for it? Why do you become confused?
This is the most direct approach! Be free from both confusion and enlightenment.
Stop seeking. It is a sickness. Then monkey mind will stop. When you see things in this way, you will be free and independent.

Forget the chakras

May 8, 2016

Forget the chakras. Perception of them is completely conditioned and illusory. It depends on your beliefs. If you believe there are seven of them, you will feel seven. If you believe there are twelve of them, you will feel twelve. If you do not believe chakras exist, you will feel a thousand chakras. What is important is that awareness become more intense, that the capacity to concentrate become keener, and this leads to the possibility of feeling intensely the openings as well as the closings.

It can be fully known

May 8, 2016

The Clear Light of your own intrinsic awareness is empty, like the sun rising in a cloudless illuminated sky. Even though this light cannot be said to possess a particular shape or form, nevertheless, it can be fully known.

(Padmasambhava)

You should look at your own mind

May 8, 2016

It is certain that the nature of the mind is empty and without any foundation whatsoever.
Your own mind is insubstantial like the empty sky.
You should look at your own mind to see whether it is like that or not.

It is certain that self-originated primary awareness has been clear and luminous from the very beginning,
Like the heart of the sun, which is self-originated.
You should look at your own mind to see whether it is like that or not.

You should look at your own mind, observing it again and again.

(Padmasambhava)

Mind

May 8, 2016

All activity deliberated by the mind is activity of limited consciousness.

As the heart of the sun

May 4, 2016

As the heart of the sun
Cannot be veiled by an eternity of darkness
So too, the realization of the ultimate nature of the mind
Cannot be veiled by an eternity of samsara.

Mahamudra

May 2, 2016

Abandoning all bodily activities,
Remain like a bunch of straw cut loose.
Abandoning all verbal expressions of speech,
Remain like a lute with its strings cut through.
Abandoning all mental activity,
That is Mahamudra.

This body of yours is impermanent like a feather on a high mountain pass,
This mind of yours is empty and clear like the depth of space.
Relax in that natural state, free of fabrication.
When mind is without any support, that is Mahamudra.
